From coast to coast

FirstPoint is a partnership of Ireland’s leading fishing Co-Op representing half of Ireland’s fishing boats. Rooted in coastal communities North, South, East and West, we exist to give our boats, crews and customers a stronger future together.

Our purpose is simple: to connect the people who catch Langoustines with the people who value them — building trust, ensuring quality and safeguarding our fisheries for generations to come.

Why work with us?

Grounded in tradition and refined through precision, we provide seafood you can trust — from generations of coastal expertise to advanced freezing methods.

Scale

With access to over 3,000 tonnes annually, our Co-Op fleet provides consistency of supply through one reliable point of contact.

Quality

Every Langoustine is frozen-at-sea within hours, carefully graded and fully traceable. The result, sushi-grade quality, trusted by chefs and wholesalers alike.

Expertise

Behind every catch are multi-generational fishing families. Over 60 years of knowledge, craft and care passed down from deck to deck.

Sustainability

Our vessels actively take part in Fishery Improvement Programmes, ensuring responsible practices that protect fisheries.

Our Ethos

At the heart of FirstPoint Co-Op is collaboration. Strong alone, stronger together — our futures depend on one another. By uniting boats, crews and communities, we keep those who know the sea best directly connected to the markets that value their catch. This shared approach builds strength, resilience and accountability — for our members, partners and customers.

Partnerships that last

We are not a distant intermediary. We are the crews and communities who catch your seafood. Our Co-Op ethos means we invest in long-term relationships, not short-term transactions.

Meet the team

Behind FirstPoint is a team of skippers, crews and industry experts who bring generations of knowledge to every catch and every customer relationship.
